Engagement & Wedding Rings
Rings designed to be worn every day, and last over time.
Choosing an engagement or wedding ring is often more complex than it first appears. Sometimes you already have a clear image in mind. Other times you only know how you want it to feel - or you're not sure yet, and that's completely natural. This page is here to explain how I work with engagement and wedding rings, so you can understand the process calmly, without pressure or expectations.
Many people come here unsure where to begin, or how to choose something that truly fits the person who will wear the ring.
There's no need to arrive with a finished idea. This is a slow, considered process - shaped by conversation, trust and careful work.
How it works
-
Conversation
We begin with a conversation about you, or about your partner. You don't need to arrive with clear answers or a finished idea. We'll simply go through what matters together. I'll guide you with questions and suggestions, and help translate your inspiration into something tangible.
-
Making
After we discussed the details, this is the part where the ring slowly takes shape in my hands. I work step by step, adjusting proportions and small details as I go. The goal is to find what feels natural and honest for the person who will wear it.
-
Completion
When the ring is finished, it's ready to leave the studio and become part of your - or your beloved one's - life. You'll receive it carefully packed in a jewelry box, ready to be given when the moment feels right, and to be celebrated for a lifetime.
Each ring is made for a specific person
Every engagement and wedding ring is made for one hand, one life, one story.
This allows space for small but important decisions, such as design, size, material, thickness, surface, stone or no stone - so the ring can really belong to the person who wears it.
Some rings include stones, others don't.
At the moment, stones are selected individually for each project. Together, we'll look for what feels perfect for you in tone, character and durability.
I'll help guide this part of the process when the time comes.
Creating an engagement or wedding ring takes time...
Please allow time for:
- conversation and preparation
- the making process
- decisions to settle naturally
Most rings are completed within 8-12 weeks, depending on complexity and timing.
If you have a specific date in mind, we'll talk about early on and plan accordingly.
If you need help with ring sizing - mainly when choosing for your partner - you'll find guidance in the Ring Size Guide page.
If this feels the right pace and way of working,
I'd be happy to hear from you.
